I have been working as a sport & performance psychologist within elite sport, and clinically for over 20 years,specialising in elite performance and eating disorders. In recent years I have trained specifically in Neurodiversity and applied that to the sporting world allowing greater adaptation within environments to accommodate neurodiverse athletes in all settings and assist coaches to most effectively manage and support these athletes.

Throughout my career I have been involved in the media through specialist comments and hosting various programs in sport and mental health. Public speaking and corporate speaking are also regular parts of my working life

Dr Emma Steer is an AHPRA registered, endorsed Clinical and Educational Psychologist who has worked with childer, adolescents and yound people within the clinical, sports and educational environments for over 20years.Emma is passionate about educating and supporting young people and elite athletes to develop a healthy,fulfilling lifestyle that cultivates positive mental health, resiliency and optimal functioning.

Emma works with the general population of childern,adolescents and young adults as well as elite and amateur athletes and performing artists.Emma heads the psychology Department of an independent girls' school in Melbourne and consults in private practice at Olympic Parks Sports Medicine Centre,AMMI Park.Emma is also part of the AIS Mental Health Refferal Network(MHRN) and the AFLPA Member Referral Network.Emma is a trained AIS Eating Disorders in Sports (EDIS) facilitator, an AFL Tackle Your Feelings (TYF) facilitator and a qualified Mental Health First Aid Australia (MHFA) General, Youth and Teen instructor. Emma utilises a variety of practical psychological treatment strategies.Emma's doctoral research investigated positive mental health in yound people internationally.More recently,Emma contributed to a research publication examining neurodiversity in elite female athletes. Emma is endorsed as a professional psychology supervisor and is affliated with recognised universities and educational organisations.She has current and past involvement as a board member on various university committees,community and educational organisations.Emma provides professional guidance to working parties for national and state sporting organisations and the media. Kylie Latu is passionate about the interconnection between mental and physical health. She has combined this with her own personal love of all things sport, leading her evolution into a career as a psychologist withspecial interests in sport and performance psychology. Kylie has a strong background in physical healthcare, having previously worked clinically as a podiatrist for over fifteen years, in various roles including sport podiatry and lower limb biomechanics.

Kylie loves working with a range of people, whether that is as a recreational or elite athlete; returning to exercise and activity after injury, illness, or parenthood; or anyone seeking to improve their mental health and well-being. She is passionate about helping people overcome personal barriers, reclaim self-worth, connect with their purpose, and fulfil their potential. Kylie has a warm, empathetic nature, and an exceptional ability to create a welcoming and comfortable environment for all her clients. She utilises psychology treatments from a range of evidence-based therapies including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), personal narrative therapies, solution focussed therapies, visualisation, meditation, and mindfulness strategies. Kylie has special professional interests in supporting athletes across many sports including rugby, AFL,soccer, tennis, body building, triathlon, endurance sports, and indoor court sports. She currently works as the AFLW club/team psychologist at Hawthorn Football Club, and has previously been at Melbourne Rebels Rugby Union Super W club as team psychologist, as well as a provider of psychological support,development and delivery of mental health education within multiple community programs for the AFL’s Western Bulldogs Community Foundation. Kylie is an accomplished speaker, lecturer, and educator. She has been a university teacher and clinical supervisor for over 16 years within health sciences at La Trobe University, and currently teaches psychology at Victoria University.
