Aim of the Programme

Often the first question an athlete asks after injury is "when can I get back to sport?" At elite levels the pressure is obviously high but the question is asked at all levels of sport and is a challenge for all clinicians in the field of sport and exercise medicine. Obviously there are a large number of factors surrounding this decision.

The aim is for attendees to have some understanding of the complexity of return to play decisions and the science behind them.

TIME: The symposium will run from approximately 8am to 4.30pm.
