After completing his medical degree at the University of Melbourne, he obtained a fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 2003.

Tim recently returned from Canada, where he successfully completed two highly regarded Orthopaedic Knee and Sports Medicine Fellowships. In addition, he has commenced weekly consulting sessions at Olympic Park Sports Medicine Centre and is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at the Austin Hospital in Heidelberg.
