Sarah is an energetic and enthusiastic member of our Clinical Pilates team, with extensive experience as a Pilates instructor, Myotherapist, and Sport and Recreation educator within the TAFE sector.
Sarah entered the health industry as a Myotherapist before identifying a lack of knowledge and experience in her ability to provide quality corrective exercise therapy to her clients. Several years of studying and practicing the Pilates Method significantly enhanced Sarah’s clinical practice, bridging the gap between her manual and physical therapy skills.
Sarah’s passion for teaching Pilates prompted a desire to further develop her vocational education and training skills by completing a Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment. Sarah has since integrated her clinical skills into education and training courses within Registered Training Organisations and TAFE institutes.
Sarah currently teaches small group Pilates classes at OPSMC and is highly motivated by the clinic’s collaborative approach to providing individuals with current evidence-based treatment and management of musculoskeletal pain and injury.
Away from the clinic, Sarah loves outdoor activities with her family, and is a keen track and field athlete – recently entering the Master’s age group!
