Lachlan Bromley gained an insight in to the sports medicine world at an early age attending OPSMC as a young teenager with low back pain. It was this insight and his love of sport that lead him down the path he is now on. He grew up playing many sports but focused on hockey towards his late teens. After playing in state teams during junior years he was soon overtaken in skill and speed by the next generation! More recently he has enjoyed running, social basketball and netball and keeping fit in the gym.
As a physiotherapist, Lachlan prides himself on his ability to build a rapport with patients of diverse backgrounds and educate them on ways to self-manage their condition and work towards an active and healthy lifestyle. He has skills in dry needling, clinical pilates and strength and conditioning to complement this outlook. He particularly enjoys treating conditions of the lower limb, tendinopathies and hip and groin pain, whilst also being eager to help patients with their acute or chronic spinal conditions.
Since graduating, Lachlan has gained further skills in treating the sporting thoracic spine, sports injuries, gym related injuries, tendinopathy and general spinal and sporting complaints.
Lachlan joined the OPSMC Geelong team after gaining a position with the Geelong Football Club. It was this and the incentive of a “sea-change” that has lead him down the highway.
