Bio

Brendan Goonan studied Exercise Science at Australian Catholic University in 2005, finished a Graduate Diploma of Education at Victoria University in 2007 then finally completed the Master of Physiotherapy course at the University of Canberra in 2009.

Since graduating Brendan Goonan has worked in private practice for 6 years and is currently the Academy Physiotherapist for Cricket Victoria. He works with the Under 19 and 17 squads and travels with the state Futures League team. Prior to his current role in cricket Brendan Goonan worked with the De La Salle Old Collegian Amateur Football Club for 4 years and ACT cricket for 3 years.

Brendan Goonan is interested in all sports and likes keeping fit since recently finishing up playing Cricket and Football. Clinically he likes treating athletes from all ages and levels in particular Cricket and Football injuries, lower limb injuries and post operative rehabilitation. He has an interest in injury prevention and has completed the level 1-2 functional movement screening courses.
