Bio

Alison Low is a Specialist Sports Physiotherapist (as awarded by the Australian College of Physiotherapists 2016) with over 20 years of experience. She has recently moved to Melbourne having owned a successful private practice in Perth.

Alison has provided physiotherapy service to the Western Australian Institute of Sport looking after such sports as netball, rowing, Winter Olympic sports (skeleton and bobsled), sailing and most recently Track and Field. She travelled with the Australian Track and Field team to the World Championships in 2015 and was part of a team involved in preparing athletes for this year’s Rio Olympics.

She has been a clinical tutor and lecturer on Masters programs at both Curtin University and the University of Western Australia and has lectured for many years on APA level 1 and 2 Sports Courses.

Alison also has a special interest in shoulders and adolescent athletes as well as lower limb overuse injuries and low back pain.
